There has been this Folk/light agit prop song in which the chorus went "coal, coal for <English female name>", does this ring any bells?
It's about a railwayman's widow for whom the crews would regularly donate some coal by chucking it to her yard.

Of course, this was sung in Finnish.
There are other possibilities besides it being an 'translation schlager':
1) it's a Finnish pastiche of American folk
2) it's an old immigrant song, from the start of the 1900s.
